Special Campaigns

In 2015, the Chicago Mudcats Sport & Social Club received a $27,500 challenge grant from an anonymous donor. The donor offered to match dollar-for-dollar all donations from new donors who had not previously contributed to the Chicago Mudcats organization, and increased contributions from current and past supporters. At that time, the Mudcats embarked on our first-ever challenge campaign and raised $27,957. Our generous donor provided the $27,500 match and for the season the Mudcats raised an unprecedented amount of $55,457 in new dollars to support scholarships, facilities, and hiring of, and professional development for, coaching staff.
